As coaches, you are required to obtain 12 CEUs during each recertification period. Eight of these must be USA Triathlon Official CEUs, while the other four can be a selection of Official CEUs, Adjunct CEUs, or Institutional CEUs.

The paid CEU courses outlined above all fall under USA Triathlon Official CEUs, while those that qualify as Adjunct CEUs will be labeled with "(1 Adjunct CEU)" in the title.

If you are taking a Specialization course (see links above the course images on this page), you will see notations such as (1/8) or (8/9) at the beginning of the course description. This indicates that the course is module 1 of 8 or 8 of 9 in the Specialization series. You do not need to complete them in order, and we post courses as they are finished. This allows us to launch new Specialization courses as soon as the first module is produced, giving you the option to begin immediately rather than waiting for the entire series to be completed.

You'll also notice that these course modules are discounted by 25% to $29.95 rather than the traditional $39.95 while we are building the course (They still carry 1 USAT Official CEU). This accounts for the discount that will apply to the full course once completed, ensuring you are not disadvantaged by taking modules before the course is finished. Once the series is complete, individual modules will return to their normal price, and only the full course will carry the discounted rate.
